Dgroups webinar – Maintaining and troubleshooting your online community

The third and final Dgroups Communities Webinar took place on 15 June 2015 and focused on how to maintain and troubleshoot your online community. Facilitated by Lucie Lamoureux (KM4D Associates) the webinar was designed mostly as a peer-assist session. Two participants presented two case studies, illustrating the challenges they face in maintaining their communities of practice (CoPs). In August 2013, Dgroups counts 2.297 communities, with around 167.691 registered users. It delivers around 400.000 email messages each day. The Dgroups Foundation is committed to make Dgroups accessible and affordable to all development organisations. Dgroups.org is restored to normal service

The Dgroups.org website was down over the weekend, apparently due to a temporary technical problem with the Internet Service Provider, which is now fixed. Thanks to the prompt intervention of WA-Research over the weekend, we are now back online. All messages sent during the down-time should be queued normally, so no specific actions are required by Dgroups moderators/administrators.
